One Night @ The Savannah

March 11, 2007

It is totally nothing to do with being at the Savannah or hunting for victims! Ironically, it is the theme of the choir night – the 2007 choir annual dinner. Ain’t it so cool, huh? Needless to introduce more about the event, I put it as the best annual dinner occasion that I had been to so far.

This was the place - Cyberview Lodge Resort. I was in love with the atmosphere, indeed!

Christina and Jia Qi were posing at the open air corner where I got my signature there and souvenir.

We matched coincidentally and perfectly. (Lovin’ this pic!)

Mei Huey – the VIP of the night

Shi Qin and I were intending to have some professional glamour shots! Not bad, not bad! (She is so fair la..)

Woww.. I saw something fascinating.. POOL!!

The so-called cakes! I didn’t taste any of them. Poor me!!

When they were posing.. I thought I was shooting for six super models as they cared for their body lines and err.. SEXINESS??

The out-going president – Sheau Huey (I loved her dress!)

Seeing some juniors chatting over the artificial tree.. Qi and I grabbed the chance and took this pic!

And it was followed with the second batch of juniors..

Seen Seen – Qi Qi – Keat Keat

Lee Jing – the law student who has a dynamic soprano voice

Selina a. k. a. The Blue Dolphin

“Hey, Jude (Zhu Zhu) .. Don’t be afraid..”

The Holiday

February 14, 2007

I must say, I was totally blown away by this drama. How could this happen to me??

Yeah, I was always excited to see BIG movies, and feeling how the stories brought to me via the motions, the laughing’s, the cryings, and more.. For two or three weeks, at least.

The Holiday, the movie just took my heart away from my body.. It touched my heart so tenderly (Well, I know Cameron Diaz and Jude Law are HOT!) and it went like I had no conscious at all to react that it attacked me at the bottom of my heart.

The Holday
Yes, Qi Qi and Khang Khang went with me to see this one.

TH1

I am not gonna reveal how the drama goes on or whatever. But what I really felt inside the cinema hall was I actually did and do believe the presence of love around me.. But why do I always desperately (not really) look for the true love more and more? Am I not satisfied enough with what I gained and lost simultaneously? Or were they not the ONES?

Or am I looking for someone who does not really exist? Heww..

TH2

I personally kinda liked the roles played by Kate Winslet and Jack Black (funny dude) but they might just play as the supporting roles. Too bad, I really feel this way till now. Kate Winslet was so cool and she in fact successfully lost her weights. And Jack should take up some tips from her, then.

And, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

Burger King

February 11, 2007

I’m, already, officially 21 years old. On the last 5th of February. It was actually a busy day! I must say that when birthdays come to happen on weekdays, I just have to dig a hole and find a short time to have a celebration, as weekdays never let me go from business.

Like what had just happened, classes, labs, choir practices (even though I enjoyed doing it), assignments and deadlines were definitely not in the plans. But they all came to me and murdered me on the spot.

Anyway, it is better than nobody knows when my birthday is, I believe. So, a huge thanks to those who sent me testimonials and messages on the Friendster page, and smsed the greetings, also some bought cakes for me, and sang birthday songs, and phoned me at 12 and err.. etc.

Here I attach the pictures taken yesterday at Burger King inside Mid Valley, with Clarice, Sohuen and her brother, Chee Keong.

Gifts For Kids

January 31, 2007

I could still remember vividly how I waited for Lunar New Year occasions when I was young, especially the reunion with all the family members. I was so pampered, I confess, that almost everyone (brothers and sisters) would buy something for me when they got back home.

But that was really a long time ago. So now, I guess it is my turn to be the older generation that I have 4 nephews and 1 niece.

Chinese Orchestra

January 31, 2007

My university had just launched a Chinese orchestra concert at DECTAR on the previous Sunday. One of my course-mates, Lay Theng, played the flute. Also, one of my choir teammates, Steven, joined her. Just coincidentally they played the same kind instrument.

It was my pleasure joining them, too! Haa.. But I only took part in the opening session on the extended stage where my choir team had to perform two songs – Negaraku and Varsiti Kita.

I took a backstage (without flashing) shot after singing.

IMG_1555

They at that moment looked so nervous and mm.. They played not that well as I expected they should give a 100% performance. So I was slightly disappointed.

But then Jia Qi and I went to the seats upstair of the hall and watched the show from far. Surprisingly, they improved very fast.

The music suddenly rushed all over the hall and made it like that moment was perfect. I was relieved that I luckily didn’t leave the hall at the beginning.

IMG_1559

Anyway, my favourite performance was Flying Apsaras.

Bravo! (I kept saying this word on that day once I saw my friends who joined the concert.)

Neway Karaoke Box

January 28, 2007

CNY is coming very soon, I’m sure that everyone is getting ready for this long-waiting season. I, somehow, spending time from 12 to 12 with Michelle on last Friday and planning to meet my two course-mates (Clarice and Chee Wei) at Times Square on the same day.

Then, Clarice suggested to go for karaoke session at Neway. I had never been there. So with curiosity, I was okay to join them.

NewayKB

I enjoyed myself and absolutely liked going crazy there, as it seemed so classy and the TV screen was about 4 times wider compared to MyKTV’s and Redbox’s.

Well, this is just a KTV post. Nothing more to crap on!

Lost In Pyramid

January 23, 2007

Happily, I went outing with my choir friends on the previous Saturday. This could be my official first time joining the team and spending almost one whole day together. The main reason this trip was held was to make closer bonding between seniors and juniors or new members. But ultimately it came out only ONE junior participating in the one-day trip with her seniors. She was Juanita (if spelled correctly).

We started off our journey at around 9 in the morning, and checked in our booked karaoke room at REDBOX at Sunway Pyramid. The room was numbered 38. Guess it must have indicated something in us.

But just after few hours of karaoking, Johnny, Mei Huey and Mei Xian left for their homes at first. They dumped us. And there was left the others who kept singing until the machine screen hanged. *roll eyes*

Then escaping from the singing room, we had our tea break.

The blueberry waffle. We decided to take a picture of it after having it in mouths.

IMG_1526
Shi Qin ordered this chocolate waffle but it was shared by all of us (except Tze Khang as he was having his banana flavour waffle) because it tasted so great!

After that, mostly, everyone was shopping for their own stuffs, but me! I was just wandering around and hunting for Michelle’s birthday gift.

I bought a necklace for her and it was sent to her yesterday.

After having our BIG dinner, all of us were full to the fullest, particularly Tze Khang. The girls had their mercies on him. In fact, they could not finish the rice.
